SHIPPING & RETURNS POLICY
For the purpose of this Shipping & Returns Policy, the terms artwork & artworks shall include any original painting using oils or acrylics rendered on a canvas product, timber board or paper, and pastels rendered on paper. The terms Pam Gleeson Art, pam@pamgleeson.com.au, us, we & our shall mean Pam Gleeson Art.
SHIPPING
Artworks up to 100 centimetres on the longest side are shipped with Australia Post. Artworks over 100 centimetres on the longest side are shipped with a suitable and independent courier.
Artworks are packed in a variety of products including cardboard, corflute, bubble wrap, paper and packing tape as required. Framing glass, where applicable, is taped to prevent shattering and padded to reasonably protect against impact.
Artworks will be shipped within 2 business days from the time of purchase, to the shipping address nominated at checkout. It is the purchaser’s responsibility to advise the correct shipping address. Pam Gleeson Art accepts no responsible for artwork sent to an incorrectly advised shipping address.
You will be advised by email when your order has been received and again when your artwork has been shipped. These emails will be sent to the email address given at checkout.
A signature will be required upon delivery of your artwork. If a signature cannot be obtained, the delivery will be returned to the courier and you will be advised by the courier where to collect your artwork. A redelivery charge might apply.
For all artworks allow up to 10 business days from purchase to delivery. Add a couple of days to this if the framing option has been selected.
RETURNS
Purchases of gift cards are non-refundable.
Returns of artworks because of inappropriate size, colour, change-of-mind, or any reason other than damage sustained in transit, cannot be accepted.
If your artwork arrives damaged, you have the option to return it, free of charge, within 7 days of delivery and receive a replacement or refund, as detailed below.
To qualify for free return & replacement or refund, you must, within 7 days:
a) notify pam@pamgleeson.com.au of the damage, and
b) photograph any damage to the packaging BEFORE unpacking the artwork. Once unpacked, photograph the damage to the artwork and send the photographs to pam@pamglesson.com.au and
c) return the damaged artwork to Pam Gleeson Art, taking reasonable precautions when repacking the artwork, to protect it from further damage. Depending on size, as described in our Shipping Policy above, the damaged artwork will be returned through Australia Post or a suitable independent courier nominated by us. We will pay all costs for return shipping. In most cases, we will provide you with return shipping labels.
Once the artwork arrives at our studio, the damage will be assessed & you will be advised of the outcome.
If your claim is deemed reasonable, you will have the option to:
a) take another artwork, paying only the difference if the purchase price of the new artwork is greater than the original purchase price or receiving a remittance if the price is less, or
b) accept a full refund.
If you choose another artwork, it will be sent to you, free of charge, once any difference in purchase price has been paid by you or any remittance is paid by us.
If you opt for a refund, the full purchase amount will be refunded to the original payment method.
