The painting is of Lombardina beach on Cape Leveque north of Broome, WA. The simplicity and the depth of colour were truly an inspiration to put brush to canvas. Every time I look at the painting I am reminded of lying on the beach in the warm sun or swimming in the clear depths. We were so lucky to have this beautiful spot to ourselves for an entire afternoon.
